    Dr. Wendy Borlabi

    Founder and Performance Psychologist

    … is currently working with the Chicago Bulls and is founder of Borlabi Consulting, a performance psychology firm. Also, she is an independent consultant with the National Basketball Association.

    She worked for the United States Olympic Committee (USOC) at their training center in San Diego for six years (two Winter Olympic and one Summer Olympic Games). She co-founded Acumen Performance Group (APG) along with six current and ex-Navy SEALs. They developed a program that integrated the SEALs real-world experience and applied it in both the development and application of the high-performance concepts of seamless teamwork, mental toughness, and unwavering confidence.

    At James Madison University (JMU) she worked for five years as the liaison between athletics and the Counseling and Student Development Center (CSDC). In those five years, she began the sport psychology services for the student-athletes, coaches and athletic department. In addition, she facilitated the development of the sport psychology department as a division of the JMU athletic department.

    She received a B.S. in Psychology from Southwestern Oklahoma State University, a M.S. in Kinesiology with a concentration in Sport Psychology from Georgia Southern University, and a doctorate in Clinical Psychology with a concentration in Sport Psychology and Exercise Psychology at Argosy University/Phoenix.

    Audrey Boyle, MBA

    Chief Executive Officer
    Audrey Boyle has over 15 years of education, sales, business management and digital online marketing experience. As a Business Professor at Robert Morris University for the past 4 years, she has been able to teach her students the latest social media and digital online marketing strategies.

    She graduated from the University of Tulsa with dual degrees a Bachelors in Science in Marketing and Bachelors in Arts in French. After her undergraduate degree she has was involved in sales and sales management organizations for successful start -up and Fortune 500 companies. Also was one of the youngest Vice President for The Home Depot by the age of 29.

    After receiving high honors in graduate program from American Intercontinental University she began training and teaching sales, career management and business courses at RMU. As a digital marketing consultant for the past four years she has assisted with projects involving: consultant lecturing online, hybrid and ground coursework, presenting latest media marketing techniques and strategies in the classroom, website and social media analytics, strategic management, and creating engaging online content development and management.

    Dr. Molly Cowan

    Performance Psychologist
    Dr. Cowan was born and raised in Central Pennsylvania. She received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Millersville University and both her master’s and doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP). Her doctoral dissertation explored the use of hypnosis for performance enhancement with baseball players.

    Dr. Cowan completed an APA-accredited predoctoral internship and an additional year of residency at James Madison University (JMU) working with Dr. Borlabi in athletics and the Counseling and Student Development Center (CSDC). While at JMU, she worked with athletic teams and individual student-athletes and helped coordinate National Girls and Women in Sports Day events on campus. She also served as a member of the American Association for Sport Psychology (AASP) Ethics Committee.

    After her time at JMU, Dr. Cowan returned to Central Pennsylvania and obtained licensure as a psychologist. She is currently in private practice in the Harrisburg area providing individual sport psychology and performance enhancement services to local athletes, as well as therapy for adolescents and adults. She is also an active member of the Pennsylvania Psychological Association, serving on committees including the Ethics Committee and the Committee for Multiculturalism. In her spare time, Dr. Cowan enjoys yoga, hiking, spending time with her family and friends, and cheering on her favorite sports teams.

    Rachel Webb

    Rachel Webb

    Performance Psychologist Intern
    Rachel Webb is currently a graduate student at Adler University in the Counseling psychology program with a specialization in Sport and Health Psychology. She will be earning her certification in both fields in June 2017. She is an intern for Dr. Borlabi Consulting and will be interning for the Chicago Bulls come fall of 2016. Rachel is also an intern for Old Irving Park Community Clinic where she will be receiving her certification hours and is also working with the Noble Networks private schools as a Sport Psychology Consultant extern. She is currently working at Logan Square and Wicker Park fitness.

    Rachel was recently the communications intern for Cures Within Reach, a non-profit organization dealing with drug repurposing. She is also in affiliation with her programs board ASHA, organizing educational and community service events. She is an AASP member and has attended the last two years of conferences as well as presented her work at the Western Psychological Association Conference. She presented work at her undergraduate Annual Student Research and Creative Works Symposium on the effects of coaching behavior and leadership on player performance as well.

    Rachel graduated Magna Cum Laude from California State University, Northridge with her degree in Honors Psychology and minoring in Political Science. She worked as a tutor and mentor through the Matador Achievement Center, was a research assistant in Dr. Mark Otten’s Sport Psychology lab, interned with Dr. Ashley Sampson the CSUN sport psychologist, was a coach for the Northridge soccer academy summer camps, and lastly was on the division 1 Women’s soccer team. Rachel was captain of her team for two years and received the Perseverance Award from all of the players and coaches after her final season at CSUN.

    Hobbies include working with service projects here in Chicago such as The Mission Continues (veteran community) and Back on my Feet Chicago (homeless community).
